Rhythm and Brews: Schedule Set for Tijuana Jazz and Blues Festival

The Tijuana Jazz and Blues Festival will be held Sunday, May 26.
This Sunday, May 26, 2013, when the clocks hands strike noon, the “Tijuana Jazz and Blues Festival” will kick off on Avenida Revolucion, between Fourth and Fifth Street. Besides the excellent music, visitors to the family-friendly festival can sample wines, craft beers and food at very reasonable prices.
Speaking of reasonable prices, admission is free for the festival, which will feature performances from Steph Johnson, Missy Andersen, Pico de Gallo Latin Jazz, Pachuco Blues, Rio, Ticos Jazz Big Band, Los Zaragoza, Carlos Marks and Datz Jazz.
In addition to great music, visitors to the Tijuana Jazz and Blues Festival can enjoy fine wines and craft beers, and sample excellent regional cuisine.
The jazz and blues fest is just another example of the great cultural activity found in the Tijuana area. The event will take place just a few minutes away from the international border, near Caesar’s Restaurant, which will of course share its gastronomic treasures, including the salad that made Tijuana famous.
