The 11th Annual Caesar Salad Festival will bring some of the best restaurants in the city together to celebrate this popular salad that was invented in Tijuana by Italian immigrant Caesar Cardini in 1924. It was here in Tijuana that in 2007 the Tijuana Restaurateurs Chamber of Commerce created the biggest Caesar salad ever, that won a place in the Guinness Book of Records. That salad weighed 3.287 tons (7,246 lb).
In addition to the salad, there will be beers and local wines available for sale. Live entertainment.
The event will take place on Avenida Revolución, between 4th and 5th.
