“Music makes the people get together, yeah…”

In 1982, France started celebrating music through their festival La Fête de la Musique, meaning The Festival of Music.”  Now, it is an international event that happens in more than 120 countries.

San Jose del Cabo, an arts-oriented town, joined the ‘happening’!  Since then, every year, our town has been sponsoring space for musicians of all genres to freely express their art to the enjoyment and joyful benefit of locals and tourists, alike.

Fiesta de la Musica is a free event where all you need to do is listen to music, dance, sing and laugh with friends. The 2012  music festival aligned with summer solstice celebrations in late June, and everyone had a great time!

See how others celebrate music and art.  Hopefully you will get inspired and we’ll see you here  same time next year!
