Secretos del Jardin is the place to go if you are looking for a genuinely Mexican culinary experience. Run by Laura Martinez and her family at the end of a narrow dirt road not far from Mercado del Sol II, Secretos del Jardin shows you how the majority of Mexicans eat when they choose to go out. With its casual atmosphere and traditional menu, Secretos del Jardin is sure to be a hit with anyone looking for something “off the beaten path”. Laura has her own organic garden, her salads are exquisite, a wonderful mix of fresh greens and herbs picked daily just for you. All sauces are fresh and homemade daily. Fresh squeezed juices include orange, watermelon, passion fruit and lemonade. It just doesn’t get any more authentic than this. Don’t miss the chilaquiles, tacos, tortas, and their famous shrimp stuffed chiles rellenos. Everything is simple, but elegant and cooked with love.

The restaurant is open from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

Perhaps The Best Meal and Dinners Ever in Todos Santos

I had the pleasure of being invited to attend Laura's mothers Day dinner with yet another delious menu for her special Mothers Day Dinner at Secrets of the Garden restaurant here in Todos Santos.

I was part of a expending group of of 8 folks some of who are here visiting friends who joined our group. We all dined on her and Chile Relleno, Enchilada, Taco Dorado, Rice, and some of the best beans ever. She always has incredable pico or hot sauce that most folks would pay dearly for if they tasted it.

Laura's chile relleno's have always been is the best in town for me, try the shrimp ones you think youv'e died and gone to heaven. This restaurant is just past Mercado el sol 2 just down th ehill, look for the blue surfboard sign letting you know it's on the left. The love andcare in which Lura prepares her food each day with all organic googies right out of her garden.
You can always bring your own beer & wine or try one of her homemade fruit juices freshly squeezed.

You really owe it to yourself to both support local eateries like this and see a growing local legend at work, you won't be disappointed.

Best breakfact in town!

Listen up, if your looking for great local food made with the freshest ingedients well you've got to stop in for breakfast or lunch at Laura's - Secret Garden restaurant.

Absolutely the best breafact in town and she squeezes fresh made juice for you when you come in.

What's not to love and the prices are very fair.

It's just past Super Mercado 2, just go past the store down the hill on your left look for the Surfboard sign or wallboard sign in the middle of the road.

You will feel like family too.

Really good, fresh food

By far the best huevos rancheros and chicken enchiladas in town. Everything is made to order from fresh ingredients. For those of us in Las Brisas, we can walk to the restaurand and get a great breakfast or lunch. Good coffee, too.

Perhaps the most underrated restaurants in Todos. The Secret Garden has delicious food at a good price. They also have great vegetarian options.

The best real Mex. Food

The best food, price and service in town. Laura picks fresh veges from the Secret Garden daily, makes salsas daily. How do you get better than that? By having reasonable prices and a pleasant atmosphere thats how. I can't even recommend anything because it is all so good but if I had to choose just one it would be between the Huevos Rancheros and the Chile Relleno. Do yourself this favor when you are in Todos and thank me later.

I have been eating at the Secret Garden for 6 years now and hands down this is one of my favorite dishes to eat anywhere in Baja. Laura gave me her recipe but we couldn't make them as good tried but not happening. Her salads are from her organic garden and the are always so tasty. Lucky me I live just down the street from her restaurant.
