The 2012 event, taking place in the parking lot at the Hipódromo Caliente, will present over 100 different types of beer and feature great music during these two days dedicated to the art of brewing. Beer makers from Querétaro, Puebla, Guadalajara, southern United States, Baja California and Germany will participate in this year’s edition together with several local restaurants offering tasting and food for sale, such as Caesar’s, La Taberna TJ, Giussepis, L.A. Cetto, Botanas Bachoco, Huaraches El Teco, Botanas y Clamatos La TJ, Restaurant La Querencia, Paella Iris, and Bratwurst and Fritten.
The entertainment for the Festival will feature a tribute to The Beatles (Beatleamanía Tribute), and one to Guns n’ Roses (Hollywood Roses), guitarist Javier Bátiz and the alternative rock band New David. The organizers are still waiting for confirmation from Nortec Collective.
Tickets are $120 pesos or $10 USD and will include three 4oz tastings. Tickets can be purchased in Tijuana at Hotel Camino Real, Grand Hotel Tijuana, Servieventos, Agencia Staff in the Auditorio Municipal, Restaurant Baja Terra. Or in Ensenada: Kinesia Travel Agency and Cava Barón Balché. In Mexicali: Hotel Crown Plaza and Tienda La Sombra de la Elegancia.
Beer will be for sale for $20 to $40 pesos.
