The 3rd Festival of Traditional Medicine of the Americas will take place in Rancho Los Chabacanos in city of Tecate, Baja California. This event will be a bilingual international festival with the goal of promoting respect for, preserving and learning to use the traditional medicine from the indigenous cultures in North and south America.
Learning and sharing the traditions of The Americas helps break down and overcome the perceived limits that have been created by popular culture in regards to these sacred and honorable traditions.
Healers and ‘medicine’ people from Mexico and United States will join together to share their wisdom and medicine with those who have the interest in honoring, learning from and preserving these valuable traditions. Traditional Medicine is not the past, it is our future….
