San Quintín is a quiet town, even with its 25,000 population. Most events are very local and, because the town doesn’t really boast a town square (like a zocalo in traditional Mexican towns), activities are more geared to neighborhoods.
- ExpoFeria, San Quintin This is a Mexican fiesta for the whole family that includes livestock, agricultural products and fishing products expo, folk dance and music, art and craft display, mechanical rides for the kids and an off road car and motorcycle race. Typically held in August, this is a fun time of year that takes advantage of warm weather, warmer ocean waters, and the fiesta atmosphere that is authentically Baja.
- Don Eddie’s Fishing Tournaments are held each summer, and attract some of the West Coast’s most skilled anglers.
