Casa Judy was the PERFECT place for us to stay on our first Baja vacation. It was quiet, peaceful, clean, and homey. I particularly loved the deck, shower, and artistic touches throughout the condo. We spent a lot of time on the deck where we could see both the pool and the beautiful waves rolling in from the Sea of Cortez. The sound of waves crashing on the beach lulled us to sleep each night. This condo is perfectly situated within easy distance of downtown San Jose del Cabo, the most awesome grocery store, and nearby resorts with spas, restaurants, bars, and entertainment that we could choose to go to via a stroll down the beach when we wanted without having the festivities otherwise impose on our peaceful vacation. The condo is filled with little amenities that really make a difference, too. I have already scheduled my next visit.

My third time at LaJolla and this is the nicest condo! The weather was not perfect, but better than home. And it was Lill's first time in Mexico. She fell in love with San Jose and the people here. Locally, our favorite place to dine is Sardina Cantina, just a block away, where the food is great and owner and staff very friendly. Rob & Lill, Alberta Canada 2010

Casa Judy offers a just right mix of tropic-alia and plain old relaxing. I loved snorkeling in the Sea of Cortez -- actual iguanas watched us from high up on rocks near the beach! It seems impossible to eat a bad meal in San Jose del Cabo. Restaurants there are great. We ate take out, we ate upscale, we ate in a  restaurant where ALL the seating is outdoors and all the margaritas are exceptional. On days we entertained ourselves, we cooked in Casa Judy's competently equipped kitchen, swam in the large pool, napped on the second story veranda and ended the day with a little news on cable television.

In 1992 I stayed in a Cabo San Lucas hotel so stay at this condo was a pleasant surprise. No hectic traffic or time share hustlers! Judy's casa was well stocked with necessities for the kitchen and all the comforts of home.  There's a great view of the pool and ocean from the balcony. Shopping and restaurants are walking distance away.

I had a great time! Casa Judy

Casa Judy is a good landing spot for anyone wanting something new and something familiar. I loved going to the galleries in the historic district. All the gallery owners were welcoming and seemed in love with the art they exhibit. And there are excellent restaurants just about everywhere it seems. Many offer casual, outdoor seating while others are more formal. In all cases, the food was wonderful. I didn't have a disappointing meal while I was there. On the days I felt like staying at the casa, I followed a swim [in the beautiful and perfectly maintained pool] by cooking something to eat and watching a little cable TV. You can get groceries at a local store or at a Costco -- how great is that! Casa Judy's kitchen has all the tools you might need to make a gourmet meal. Golly, writing this makes me want to go back.

We head home today after a fantastic month in San Jose del Cabo... less crowded and less chaotic than Cabo San Lucas. Here you can take quiet strolls on the beach and hunt for shells or the closest beachfront bar. We recommend Zippers - there's a small play area for kids and we watched all the surfers. LaJolla has been the perfect home base. The condo is cozy and well equipped, the staff friendly and responsive. Thanks so much for sharing your home. I'm sure we'll return.
