Every year in November, the Shrimp Festival in San Felipe is celebrated with an abundance of succulent shrimp recipes, traditional tequila and regionally produced wine tasting  and folkloric dances. The event includes a competition that will reward the chef of the best shrimp dish.

The official date for this event has been announced. The Annual San Felipe Shrimp Festival will take place November 4th through November 6th, 2011.
