Tony Reyes is an experienced fisherman with more than 40 years of experiences – he’s seen it all. Let him share with you the endless, unexplored beaches of Baja, the graciousness and simplicity of its people and the countless varieties of fish.
A typical trip with Tony Reyes Fishing Tours begins in San Felipe and travels 250 miles south along the Baja coastline. The tour follows the natural migration route for the yellowtail, sometimes known as “Yellowtail Alley”, or “The Fish Trap of The Sea of Cortez”.
The season begins in March and usually includes giant black sea bass, white sea bass, cabrilla, giant squid, red snapper, pargo, yellowtail and grouper. Later in the season, ending in November, you will find dorado, pinto bass, roosterfish, sailfish, marlin, amberjack, cabrilla, yellowtail, and grouper. Finback whales and bottlenose porpoises may also be visible as you fish.
