Welcome to La Damiana Inn, a small, intimate hotel rich in history, art and natural artifacts of the area. Located in the Historical Section of Loreto, it is within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and the “Malecon”, sea-side boardwalk. La Damiana Inn was originally built in the 1930’s for General Salorio and his family and converted to a hotel in 2005. With 7 rooms, a sala or great room, full outdoor kitchen, a terrraza and extensive garden areas. Each room is individually and creatively decorated with an eye for detail, has comfortable beds, good quality linens and private bathroom with walk in shower.
Debora, the owner-operator has strived to create a moderately priced, rlaxed and homey atmosphere. Spaces are designed to “bring people together” to compare notes, recount their adventures, or quietly read while serenated by the many birds of the flowered garden, who call this home. Amenities include Secure Parking, flavorful coffee in the morning, an extensive library of books and DVD’s, In-Room WiFi, BBQ and Air Conditioning. Guests are encouraged to make full use of the full kitchen, whether to cook some of their own meals or share a cerveza at the end of the day. Many Pets are welcome but please, call ahead to inquire if La Damiana Inn is right for your pet.
La Damiana is centrally located in Loreto and a perfect location to embark on many adventures and activities, whether they it is a fishing trip, snorkeling or kayaking on the islands, riding a mule in the mountains or driving to favorite hiking locations.
The property is ideal to house and service groups. The home-like configuration allows for the group to socialize and feel at home, meals can be cooked in the kitchen, and catering is available.
