A unique rally that will not only feature typical race cars, but also vintage cars and motorcycles, and alternative fueled vehicles as well as rally cars, and a limited number of modern desert racecars and classes for prerunner trucks and buggies. Participating vehicles will run the length of Baja from Mexicali to San Jose del Cabo on on-road and off-road courses. The 2012 edition of the NORRA Mexican 1000 will be held May April 28th through May 2nd, 2012. Don’t miss the “Happiest race on Earth”!
PROGRAM:
January 1st, 2012: Registration begins
March 1st, 2012: Full payment is due
April 15th: Early registration closes. The remaining rooms in LA Bay are released to the teams. A late registration fee of $100 is applied to those who registered but didn’t yet pay in full.
April 28th: The bullring in Mexicali will host the vintage category car show, sign in, technical/safety inspection and autograph session.
April 29th, 2012: Race begins. Mexicali -Bahia de Los Angeles
April 30th, 2012: Bahia de Los Angeles-Loreto
May 1st, 2012: Loreto-La Paz
May 2nd, 2012: La Paz-San Jose del Cabo. Awards ceremony will beheld at the Cabo Azul Resort in San Jose del Cabo in the evening
