: Camping is what Baja is all about, yes safe, no marauders, I would bet it is alot safer than your home town, top down, camp, wheather Rv, or tent, lots of tents in the Baja, one thing I do have to warn you about though, everyone is very friendly, so if you are the parinoid type, might not be the place for you, however, if you are fun loving and friendly, see you there, enjoy.....Debra
