I have been renting a home for four years. The carpet in the family was heavily damaged by the previous tenants and is more than 20 years old. I have asked my Landlord to replace the carpet. He is stalling. Am I out of line asking to have the carpet replaced, especially if we are willing to sign another long term lease?
