I figured I could get to San Diego in 2 days. Do you know of any websites that could help? Thanks Seattle to S.D. is a good two day trip, however, the problem is December. I've lived in Seattle and I know it's hard to get out of town sometimes in Dec, not to mention going thru Oregon and Northern CA. S.D to LaPaz is another full two day run. The good news is, you can't get lost (except going thru TJ!). The bad news is, once again, December. Bridges in Baja tend to wash out frequently during the winter storms especially around San Quinten. Personally, I would not make that drive in winter. It's a beautiful drive but I don't know if it's worth the risk...maybe you should shoot for a better time of year...Spring is nice. Sorry to rain on your parade but it's better to know this stuff before you commit. By the way, I lived in SD for 20+ years and have made the run to LaPaz, Loreto & Cabo many times. It really is beautiful, especially south of LaPaz where you can both the Sea Of Cortez and the Pacific at the same time. Anyway, hope this helps...
