hi guys, i heard its the peak of whale watching season in baja now so i was wondering if anyone here knows what the usual whale watching rates are. i heard its pretty nice in la paz at this time of the year if you're looking for whales but are there other places (nearer to the border) where you'll see whales too? thanks thanks thanks!

RE: price for whale watching tours
hi beachbum, i went on a whale watching tour near la paz last year it was around $2,200 per person. it was a five day tour though and it included the room, food, guide fees and equipment so i think that's reasonable. better get going cause you only have less than a month or so of great baja whale watching

late to the discussion, but from our pt of view- San Ignacio lagoon is unsurpassed. eco-camp. not fancy, but good food and very up close whales (rubbing their baby tongues, etc) $100 per day includes bed & board -- kuyima.com
