VIDASOUL is a 16-room boutique hotel located in the oasis village of Boca de la Vinorama, B.C.S., Mexico. We are a forward thinking, eco-friendly design hotel and an icon for change in the Baja resort community. We believe in creating the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation for a memorable and intimate experience. Our restaurant, The Crossroads, is open 7 days a week and serves eclectic Italian/Mexican cuisine. The beaches here on the East Cape of Los Cabos are that rare place where the desert meets the sea. Golden sand. Clear, warm water. And total privacy. Also, the surf is world-class around the hotel. Surfers from around the globe find their way to the East Cape to take advantage of the warm water and huge swells. People looking for inspiration, intimacy, freedom or adventure seem to find their way here. We just have one request. Come as you are.
Our History: The founders of the restaurant, Joan Hafenecker and son Tobias Hafenecker-Dodge, began selling sandwiches and Pacificos on the beach to surfers in 1998. They then built a modest palapa and started offering live music on Saturday night. After a few years of fighting the elements and the critters on the beach, Tobias decided to build a permanent structure to enable his mother to be happy for the long term. The evolution from tent to modern architecture was a long strange trip but now The Crossroads and VIDASOUL serve as an oasis, hotel, restaurant, community center and live music venue powered by 100 solar panels and an incredible, dedicated staff. The modern architecture and attention to detail is always the first and most lasting impression when guests enter our hotel lobby. Most of our guests enter the property with an astonished look on their face and almost all ask, “How did you build this beautiful place out here?”
