Fairs, Festivals and Fiestas: Baja Events in June
Junes ushers in a bevy of summertime fiestas in Baja, from fashion shows in Los Cabos to off-road racing events and outdoor festivals in the wine country of Valle de Guadalupe. But June’s biggest Baja-themed event doesn’t take place in Baja, but rather in the greater San Diego area. The “Baja Bash” is back for its third go-round in 2014, with organizers looking to build on last year’s huge success. The Wildcoast sponsored charity event will benefit Baja’s coastal and marine ecosystems, and features Baja-inspired sustainable cuisine, a silent auction, and the infectious rhythms of SoCal rock band Los Hollywood at the Coronado Cays Yacht Club.
There are hundreds of local events that can be found on Baja.com. The following represent some of our favorite selections.
