Fairs, Festivals and Fiestas: December Events in Baja
December brings the holiday season in Baja, with a wealth of traditional celebrations interspersed with secular events like fundraisers, concerts and culinary festivals.
Rosarito boasts what may be Baja’s musical event of the year, an epic concert pairing the world’s best known mariachi group, Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, with a binational symphony orchestra. Los Cabos s hosts its annual food and wine fete, Sabor a Cabo, with offerings from over 50 local restaurants. And two of the peninsula’s landmark lodgings will ring in 2016 with spectacular New Year’s Eve galas.
There are hundreds of local events that can be found on Baja.com. The following represent some of our favorite selections.
