Sunset Casa

Guests who like more privacy enjoy this fully equiped 1 bedroom bungalow overlooking the west coast with a spectacular view of the open ocean. There is also a futon couch/bed in case you have guests. You will enjoy the gorgeous sunsets from the stone patio and it is a great place for counting whales as they pass by your window!

If you are driving down from the north, the turnoff for Bahia Asuncion is 45 minutes south of Guerrero Negro which is at the state line of Baja Sur. You turn right off the trans peninsula highway just after the Pemex gas station in Vizcaino. This paved road takes you through the fruit and vegetable farms of Vizcaino and out to the coast and can have some very nasty potholes so make sure you drive slowly. There are also some rather large sand dunes that sometimes cover the entire highway so keep watch for those too….best to take this road during the day!
After about 72km, you turn left at the sign onto the newly paved road.

This lovely, clean, well kept bungalo is a real jewel. Location, location, location. It sits on a point overlooking the ocean, lobster fishermen and sunsets, sunsets, sunsets. I can't believe the price of this little jewel.
The community is safe, clean and very friendly. Fish, surf, beach comb, sunsets, hike, bike, sunsets, kayaking...it's all here.
The owners are very friendly and helpsul. Great folks.
It is well worth the drive to visit this little village and its very welcoming people. Great food/drink and did I mention SUNSETS!
I only wish I could spend more time here.

The view from the Sunset Casita is amazing. Each evening we sat out in the front, have Tequila, and watch the sun to set. You have an unobstructed view to the bay and the cove. Its breath taking.

This house is located near the end of the town. It's right on top of the cove where pangas are launched so if you are diving, fishing, or whale watching it is very convenient to stay here. You can see when the capt is prepared and ready for you before strolling down to the cove.

The house has a functional and spacious kitchen/dining combo. We enjoyed many meals at the house. Bedroom and bath are very clean. Living room can accommodate a couple extra people, too.

I am going back in March and i hope this place is available!
