Have stayed at Casa Pargo a few times with my fishing Buddies - Great place, 3 bedrooms, totally private - Full kitchen, fridge....We fish Baja alot and found this place to be awesome. OK, most of our time is on the water and just want a great bed and shower which is what we got! Shari takes care of everything!!! I swear the woman does not sleep! Everything in town is within walking distance or a short drive. We had our fresh fish cooked at 2 different spots and my gosh tortillas, salsa, rice... couldn't finish it all and we felt like we didn't pay enough! No need to lock the doors as there is absolutely no crime in Asuncion as the locals take care of everything - Surf fishing 100 yards away - surfing great in the area = fishing unbelievable - I've never experienced fishing like this in 45 years! The cool thing is the town is based on a co-op - lobster/ abalone and they love and respect the ocean and its resources. The people reflect that attitude and welcome visitors - Oh yeah - internet in all of Shari's places to keep in touch with loved ones back home and send awesome pictures. Totally beautiful place- sky = sunrise - sunset - my gosh if you ever want to experience Baja what is was 50 years ago this is the place- the only difference is the roads in are constantly being worked on and the last road into Asuncion is brand new!
If you love to fish, love peace and quiet, love Baja, plus knowing you have great stores, medical clinic within walking distance this is the place to visit!!!
