We are pleased to announce the opening of our new full service campground on the beach in the village of Asuncion…only a couple blocks from restaurants and stores.

Campo Sirena is a full service campground on the beach in the village of Asuncion…only a couple blocks from restaurants and stores. There are power & water hookups available for RV’s as well as tenting areas.

 There is a small clubhouse/library with a bathroom, shower, WIFI and laundromat as well as a dumping station. You can shore fish a few steps from the camp or launch a kayak or small boat.

My wife, myself, and our doggies have stayed at Campo Sirena on many occasions. It is absolutely fabulous - beautiful views, clubhouse with hot shower, large library, clothes washer, wifi internet, dump station, etc., etc., etc. It is a very short and easy walk from the campground into the main part of town with markets, a tortilla factory, purified water, restaurants, and just about anything else one would need. The campground sits on a bluff overlooking the large bay. Surf fishing is abundant, and the beach provides miles and miles of undisturbed walking. Shari and Juan are the most accommodating and gracious hosts. My wife and I fell so much in love with Bahia Asuncion that we ended up buying our own piece of beach property down there - where Shari helped us with all of the details regarding the purchase and setting up our fidiecomiso. The town is very peaceful and crime is almost non existant. One of the local police officers would often stop by our campground to practice his English! Juan is one of the best fishing guides I've been with in Baja, and I've fished all along the Cortez as well as the Pacific. Either fishing from the beach or offshore, the fishing in Bahia Asuncion is world class. Bahia Asuncion defines our concept of paradise!

I am almost reluctant to review this RV Park/Campground as it is a hidden jewel. It is one of my favorite places to stay in my RV in the Baja. This camp is right on the beach, reliable electricity, dump on site, laundry room and right on a great swimming, fishing, kayaking, beach combing pristine beach. The park is a few blocks away from the main street of the village where you can find the freshest of seafood, tortillas and good restaurants. This is a fishing village so the seafood is fresh, yellowtail, rock fish, lobster and abalone in season. The owners are very helpful and have their own guided fishing, diving and whale watching trips available. The park is clean and the people of this very safe village are friendly and engaging. They seem to enjoy visitors and are welcoming and helpful.
