Travel has always been a source of great joy and wonder for Lisa. She has been fortunate to travel to many magnificent destinations all around the world, and has enjoyed amazing experiences throughout Europe, the Caribbean, North America, Down Under, Thailand and her beloved Mexico. The 2008 Olympics in China was definitely a “bucket list” travel highlight.
Lisa has shared her passion for travel working as an independent Travel Agent for nearly 30 years. She’s booked business and vacation travel worldwide, groups and family reunions, destination weddings and hundreds of honeymoons. In recent years, she’s been writing travelogues and published articles and photos reviewing some of the exciting destinations she’s visited.
Her professional background is in advertising and marketing, beginning in New York City, and then the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Managing and representing commercial photographers led to a long tenure managing a small ad agency. After relocating, she developed a direct-mail locals’ discount product in her new mountain community. She ultimately fulfilled her degree in Broadcasting with a career in sales and promotions with the local FM radio station.
Raised in suburban NJ, after life in the city and the mountains, it was time for the move to the beach. Lisa has been living in Pescadero since 2004 developing property, writing, and taking pictures. She loves the tranquility of life in Baja, the graciousness of the local people, the challenge of speaking Spanish and living as an ex-pat.
