Larry has been a global traveler for the last 30 years and has extensive experience in Hawaii, Costa Rica, Panama & Belize. He considers Mexico home and is a full-time expat. He owns property in Todos Santos in southern Baja and is residing in Ajijic in the Lake Chapala area in the central highlands of Mexico. He travels all over Mexico regularly this year has driven over 7,000 miles across Mexico.
Larry and his wife became full-time expats in 2008, after living for 15 years in Hawaii then moving to Oregon for 12 years awaiting their daughter’s college graduation. After that, Larry and his wife hit the Re-Set Button on their lives’ for good, opting to become expats permanently.
Larry and his family have spent a lot of time in Todos Santos in southern Baja. Their first visit to Todos Santos was the day Hurricane John hit in 2006. They fell in love with it right away! They bought 4 lots in San Sebastian to begin their journey of self-discovery finding paradise south of the border. They haven’t looked back since.
With a self-confessed tendancy towards boredom, Larry has always been driven to seek out new things and challenges and has never been afraid to jump into something new. Embracing change is one of his skills and has been since his childhood when his father “the gypsy dentist” seemed to move Larry and his family somewhere new every 5-6 years.
Larry started “Gringos In Paradise” www.gringosinparadise.com.mx, your total expat site about all things Mexico, to help others realize their desire to get out while they could, and to offer his real world experience in how to do it. He has a passion for helping others find their own paradise. To contact Larry: firstname.lastname@example.org
